Gingerbread & Honey Swirl Ice Cream Recipe

This all-season gingerbread ice cream dessert recipe is made with our fave Nyåkers cookies, additional spices and a sweet swirl of honey.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp molasses
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp allspice
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 6 Nyåkers Gingersnap Cookies, broken into pieces

Directions

Step 1

Add heavy cream to a large mixing bowl. Use an electric hand mixer to beat the heavy cream until it begins to form soft peaks, then add sweetened condensed milk, molasses and spices. Continue to beat the mixture until all the ingredients are combined.

Step 2

Pour mixture into a freezer-safe container.

Step 3

Dollop honey on top of the cream mixture and use a toothpick or back of a butter knife to create the honey swirl.

Step 4

Sprinkle Nyåkers gingersnaps on top and cover with a lid or plastic wrap. Freeze for at least 8 hours.
