Baked Brie Puff Pastry Tartlets Recipe

Sweet or savory? Choose between jam and brie tartlets and roasted red pepper and brie tartlets… or whip up both!

Ingredients

  • 4 sheets puff pastry
  • 16 oz brie cheese
  • 8 oz Bonne Maman Pineapple Passion Fruit Preserves
  • 8 tbsp World Market® Roasted Red Pepper Bruschetta
  • 1/4 cup World Market® Jalapeno Stuffed Olives, sliced
  • 1 tbsp bagel seasoning
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp water

Directions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425°F.

Step 2

Cut 2 sheets of puff pastry into 9 squares each. Cut the remaining 2 sheets into quarters.

Step 3

Whisk water and egg to make an egg wash.

For jam and brie tartlets:

Step 4

In a muffin tin, place the smaller puff pastry sheets into each of the indentations to form small cups.

Step 5

Add 1 tbsp of brie followed by 1 tbsp of preserves in each.

Step 6

Brush exposed edges of puff pastry with egg wash and bake for 16–18 minutes until golden brown.

For roasted red pepper and brie tartlets:

Step 7

For remaining puff pastry quarters, cut slits into each of the corners making sure to leave the centers intact.

Step 8

Place 1 tbsp of brie into each center. Spoon 1 tbsp of bruschetta over the brie, followed by a few slices of stuffed olives.

Step 9

Fold one corner of each triangle piece towards the center and press down firmly, brushing a little water on if necessary. Repeat with remaining corners.

Step 10

Transfer to a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.

Step 11

Brush exposed edges with egg wash and sprinkle on bagel seasoning.

Step 12

Bake for 16–18 minutes until golden brown.
