One-Pan Lasagna Skillet Recipe

Ingredients


6 oz lasagna sheets
1 lb ground beef
1 tbsp World Market® Tuscan Garlic & Herb Spice Blend, or: 2 tsp basil; 1 tsp each of oregano, garlic and rosemary; 1/2 tsp each of fennel and cayenne.
1 cup Truff Black Truffle Arrabbiata Pasta Sauce
1 cup Lucini Organic Tuscan Marinara Pasta Sauce
1 tsp sugar
5 oz baby spinach
1 red pepper, halved and destemmed
1/2 cup ricotta cheese
½ cup mozzarella cheese
salt and pepper, to taste
toppings: freshly ground pepper, parmesan cheese, basil
finishes: olive oil, butter

Directions

Step 1

Cook lasagna sheets according to package directions. Once drained and cooked, cut into small squares and set aside.

Step 2

Toss the red pepper halves in oil, salt and pepper and roast at 425°F for 12 minutes. Once cool, chop into small pieces.

Step 3

Brown and break up the ground beef. Slightly tilt the pan to one side to skim off any additional fat that accumulates, using a paper towel to absorb and discard it. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Step 4

Add the arrabbiata and marinara sauces and 1/4 cup water. Stir to combine and simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 5

Add the Tuscan seasoning blend, season with salt and pepper to taste and stir to combine. Simmer on medium-low for 15 minutes, until slightly thickened.

Step 6

Add the red pepper and baby spinach. Once the spinach is wilted, add the lasagna noodles and toss until well coated.

Step 7

Finish the sauce with 2 tbsp butter or olive oil, if desired.

Step 8

Add mozzarella and ricotta on top, then broil for a few minutes until the cheese is melted.

Step 9

Top with basil and parmesan if desired.
